Green Ant Craft Fair by the Sea — A Celebration of Craft, Community & Coastal Culture

The Green Ant Craft Fair by the Sea is a unique one-day artisan market event hosted by the Green Ant Craft Fair organisation in Darwin, Northern Territory. Rooted in a long-standing tradition of supporting local makers, this seaside edition brings together around 80+ stalls of handmade arts, crafts and artisan goods in a stunning waterfront setting at the Darwin Ski Club in Fannie Bay
Set against the relaxed backdrop of sea breezes and scenic views, the fair showcases a vibrant mix of locally-crafted jewellery, clothing, artworks, ceramics, toys and more, offering both visitors and residents a chance to discover one-of-a-kind gifts and creative creation.
More than just a market, the Craft Fair by the Sea is designed as a family-friendly celebration of community — with food stalls featuring local cuisine, kids’ entertainment and arts activities, and fun spots for mingling and picnicking right by the water. Organisers intentionally created this coastal version of the craft fair to reflect Top End lifestyle and horizons, fostering connection, supporting local artisans, and strengthening the creative community within Darwin and beyond
This event typically runs during the Dry season (for example, Sunday 22 June 2025, 9 am–4 pm), drawing locals and visitors alike for a relaxed Sunday of browsing, eating and seaside charm
