Under its current name, the Green Ant Christmas Craft Fair is now held at Territory Netball Stadium and marketed as a large-scale, professionally curated handmade event with more than 150 stalls. Descriptions emphasise that it champions Territory artisans, designers and small creative businesses, making it a key shopping destination in the lead‑up to Christmas.

Recent years have seen rapid growth in visibility through social media and partnerships with local platforms such as Darwin City Council’s events calendar, Tourism Top End, Darwin Family Life and Off The Leash, all of which position the fair as a must‑visit Darwin event. Visual content on Facebook shows the fair evolving into a multi‑day experience with strong crowds, children’s activities and a recognisable brand identity centred on creativity, community and “support local” values.
